Review Guidelines
Interested in being a contributor on DealViewer? We provide these review guidelines to all contributors who provide independent reviews on DealViewer. It’s important that editorial offers a fair and accurate interpretation of businesses featured.
1. Be realistic
A busy evening in a restaurant can be a wildly different experience to a quiet afternoon lunch. Take consideration of external factors and identify them to set the scene.
2. Honesty is the best…
A review that boasts nothing but great things can be more worrying than a review that highlights where a restaurant could do better. A trusted piece of editorial speaks volumes.
3. Be inquisitive
Ask questions and find out more than your average diner. Ask where the food comes from, who is the chef, what is recommended and what is most popular.
4, Try some research
Take a look at online reviews, check out their website and search their Facebook or Twitter pages. You might pick up some tips or discover some history behind the business.
5, Don’t tell them!
We’re looking for a genuine snap-shot of the business being featured. Let the business show off its real potential.
